Paulette Walker

Paulette Walker, retired school administrator, lives in Ponchatoula. Founder and President of Krewe of Nizhoni LLC, and Tangipahoa Regional Black Chamber, where she serves as Executive Director. Paulette is the 2001 recipient of the Governor’s Character Education Award for her GRACE (girls reachable and challenged everyday) suspension prevention character education program. She is an avid community service warrior. She is a program developer, business advocate, and mentor. 
Paulette has three mottos. 
  • Her education motto written by her is “There are no substitutes for effective teaching, practiced professionalism, and expected outcomes”
  • Her business motto is “Great Women Do Great Things”. 
  • Last but not least is her spiritual phrase “To God Be the Glory”.
